Please read over our terms of service before commissioning us. By doing business with us you are agreeing to all of our terms of service.
At the time of acceptance into our project queue you will be given a price based on concept are and specifications given by you. If you wish to later change your design or features this may affect your total price. We reserve the right to deny changes to the character design.
Payments and Refunds
A 30% non-refundable down payment is required within a week of acceptance. We strongly recommend making sure you are financially able to afford buying a fursuit before emailing us. We take payments but do keep in mind that the order of our project queue is based upon payments. If you stop payments, you will be pushed back. If you would like a refund and your suit has not been started you can be refunded everything except the 30% down payment. If your suit has been started and you would like a refund you will be refunded according to how much work has been completed. We reserve the right to finish and sell your suit if this is the case. After the suit is completed there is no refund option. We reserve the right to terminate your commission at any time, with or without prior notice. Communication with the creator is to be cordial and professional. The following would be considered grounds for termination if you in any way try to: Defame, abuse, harass, stalk, threaten myself or otherwise violate the rights of others, including, without limitation, others’ privacy rights or rights of publicity.
Completion and Deadlines
We can not guarantee any deadlines or completion dates. Unfortunately sometimes things come up and delay work. Please be understanding and patient. Failure to keep up on payments, or not sending a DTD will push your project back.
If you notice any issues upon receiving your suit we are happy to fix them. Do not be afraid to email us about anything you are unhappy about. If the issue is caused by the user error or being to rough we will charge for repairs. These will be taken case case. Fursuits are hand made and do wear over time. It is recommended that each customer learns basic hand sewing to do simple repairs that happen over time. We reserve the right to deny repairs if we feel you have intentionally caused harm to your suit or mistreated it in anyway.
The Phoenix Nest operates out of a home with pets.
We reserve the right to post photos of your completed fursuit on our website and other pages. Each customer also has the right to repost pictures of their suit at their disposal. All other parties do not have the right to repost any of our pictures.
We do not work with anyone under the age of 18. We will work through parents if you are under 18.
Shipping & Insurance
After the product leaves our hands for shipping, we are not responsible for loss or damages. At the time of commission, clients have the opportunity to specify whether they would like to purchase insurance when the costume gets shipped. Insurance cost will vary depending on the destination and carrier service employed. Clients can obtain an estimate on the carriers’ websites. The insurance cost will be charged separately before shipment. To provide an example on how much insurance would cost, it costs ~$80 to insure an item with a declared value of $5000 USD.
